Thr first tour stop is in the south of Lisbon in Palmela village. There, at the top of the hill it is the medieval Palmela Castle built by the Moorish during 8th and 12th centuries. It has a privileged view of the city of Setúbal and the Peninsula of Troia.
Then, the tour continues to the city of Setúbal where a stop for lunch is recommended thus tasting the famous rich gastronomy of Setúbal in particular of its fried cuttlefish. A visit to its fish market and walking along its avenues by the riverside are attractions not to be missed.
The last but not the least stop is at the Moinho de Maré da Mourisca (Mourisca Tide Mill) on the river Sado. The main attraction is the birdwatching through its observation points, walking around the marshes and still opt for a boat trip through the beautiful Sado Nature Reserve.
